Some of our zinfandel vines date back over 80 years and while we are proud of all of our estate grown fruit, we have a special liking for our zinfandel which has been nurtured by three generations of our family. Not all old vines are better but zinfandel sure is, producing darker, more concentrated fruit notes. Add to this a solid vintage such as 2010 and it’s enough to make a glass tremble. An enticing brown sugar nose gives way to dark plum and boysenberry fruit on the palate, dusted with allspice and soft pepper. Tart, bright, crisp acidity keeps the wine alive and vibrant, daring you for another sip. Late summer days spent with friends, cooking cola cherry ribs and a glass of Regusci zinfandel, reminds us that life is about sharing.
