When my Grandfather, Gaetano, bought the family ranch seventy seven years ago, it looked very different to the ranch I farm today. Except for one thing, the Zinfandel vines.

My father, Angelo, fondly remembers harvesting Zinfandel when he was a small boy and you will still see him with the crews in the old vineyards that surround his house on the ranch; farming is in his blood and I can’t stop him, even if I wanted to.

Join us, as we celebrate the 2007 Zinfandel vintage which is shaping up to be a powerfully concentrated wine, with rich berry and spice laden aromatics, wrapped in a soft, smooth and weighty palate feel. One hundred year old vines know how to produce stunning fruit!

The ranch and winery will be all yours for the day and you will have the chance to mingle with other guests, sample the cuisine of Winery Chef Richie Haake, enjoy live music, taste vertical flights of previous vintages and barrel samples of wines in the making.

Three generations of my family will be on hand to share the rich history of our ranch with you, along with winemaker Charles Hendricks who can answer your questions about our winemaking style.
