Napa Neighbors Virtual Tasting

Featuring Frank Family Vineyards, Chappellet Vineyard, & Regusci Winery

May 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM PST

As our tasting rooms remain temporarily closed for the greater good of our community, Frank Family Vineyards, Chappellet Vineyard, and Regusci Winery are joining forces to bring you the ultimate taste of Napa experience wherever you are.

We invite you to take a break from Netflix and join us on Zoom for an afternoon of camaraderie with fellow vintners and good friends Rich Frank, Cyril Chappellet, and Jim Regusci. You will hear about life among the vines in Napa Valley and learn the unique history of each winery. This is a rare opportunity to visit and taste with the owners of three iconic family-owned wineries.

The “three amigos” will be joined by world-renowned Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson as we guide you on an exploration of four storied Napa Valley growing regions – Carneros, Stags Leap, Rutherford, and Pritchard Hill – and taste their respective Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

Meet the Speakers

Rich Frank

Rich Frank
Frank Family Vineyards
Rich Frank’s love of wine first stemmed from his extensive travel via his global career as the former President of Disney Studios. He discovered his love for the Napa Valley in the 1980s, and soon after purchased a home with a vineyard in the heart of Rutherford. The purchase catalyzed Rich’s “second career” as owner of Napa Valley based Frank Family Vineyards. His passion for the winery underscores a wildly successful long-term career in Hollywood. Under Rich’s leadership, television and movie properties such as Cheers, Pretty Woman, Aladdin, and The Lion King achieved phenomenal success. Never one to rest his laurels, the former film and TV exec stepped into his role as Napa Valley vintner with ease. Rich now lives in Napa Valley full-time and is actively involved in all aspects of the winery.

Cyril Chappellet

Rich Frank
Chappellet Vineyard
The only person other than his late-father, Donn, to hold the title of CEO in the history of Chappellet, Cyril guides the day-to-day workings of the winery and vineyard, overseeing sales and marketing efforts and working with his mother and siblings to ensure the ongoing vitality of the business. Under Cyril’s leadership, Chappellet has been recognized for making some of the finest wines in its storied history, and Pritchard Hill has catapulted to center stage as California’s premier location for mountain-grown Bordeaux varietals, most notably, Cabernet Sauvignon.

Jim Regusci

Rich Frank
Regusci Winery
Jim Regusci was born and raised a Napa Valley third-generation farmer. In 1986, at just 19 years ago, Jim founded Regusci Vineyard Management (RVM). With just a white pick-up truck and a strong will, he built a farming company that today manages over 1,500 acres and custom farms an additional 1,300, as well as employs over 175 full-time employees. In the mid-1990s, Jim and his late father, Angelo Regusci, returned winemaking to their historical family property and bottled their first Regusci Winery Cabernet Sauvignon. A few years later, they opened a Tasting Room for the general public. Today, the Regusci Winery and Ranch property encompasses 286-acres, including an 1878 three-floor gravity flow winery (the third oldest production facility in Napa Valley) producing highly esteemed Bordeaux varietals. Jim serves as the proprietor to the winery and vineyard management businesses bearing his name.
